Brenda Miller, a British filmmaker, passionatly in love with the island of Madeira, is preparing a Documentary Film about Madeira Embroidery. For this reason, last March, Brenda Miller and Bordal were present at the Madeira Film Festival event. Also present at this event were names from the film world such as Nastassja Kinsi (from the Paris Texas movie) and Adrienne Wilkinson (from the movie Star Trek).

The Madeira Embroidery is part of the history and culture of the island Madeira, in Portugal. Each point has its secrets, art and technique. It is with the repeated passage of the needle and the thread through fine fabrics, and with the help of patient and passionate hands, that real timeless works of art are born. The Regional Secretariat of Agriculture and Fisheries, through the IVBAM (Madeira Wine, Embroidery and Handicraft Institute), with the colaboration of the businessmen of the sector, contacted the american fashion designer Jeff Garner with the intention of showing the Madeira Embroidery internationally.
In Bordal it is possible to visit the Historic Tour of the Madeira Embroidery that is open side by side with its production. This course portrays 150 years of history of the handicraft process of production of Madeira Embroidery, that continues with the same authenticity since its beginning.
